This spray painted kitchen was completed in Warminster, Wiltshire.
The client carried out an in-depth Google search through the list of kitchen cabinet painters in the Bath and Wiltshire area and found my profile as they said it seemed to stand out from the rest… they said it looked professional, knowledgeable and with an impressive back catalouge of similarly painted kitchens. I received the call!

The project was this 15 year old bespoke maple kitchen in need of some TLC and a transformation. I am well rehearsed on this type of project and I have carried out 100s of painted kitchens throughout my 25 years experience in the trade.

A date was immediately popped into the diary for a site visit and on arrival I was presented with an extremely beautiful space with a structurally sound kitchen. Unfortunately over the years it had become very dated and had oxidised, giving it quite an orange colour in appearance.(a very common occurrence with natural wood kitchens.) The costs for replacement came in at such a huge financial outlay that the clients had decided to have their existing kitchen painted. We sat and discussed the potential colour schemes and new hardware, to transform the kitchen.
With lots of advice and discussions, some important decisions were necessary on colour schemes to fit in with the clients existing themes throughout the house. It was decided on the equivalent colour choice of (Cornforth White) for the main kitchen cabinets and the stunning (Stiffkey Blue) for the island. These would be matched into a specialist hard wearing and durable furniture paint system, which would ultimately give it the wow factor!
Several weeks later… we arrived to number code and dismantle the kitchen taking all the doors and drawer fronts to the workshop to sand and prep, prime and professionally spray finish. Once all the doors had received the meticulously, thorough process and had fully dried, they were all carefully wrapped and loaded into the van ready to be returned to the clients home. This is when the in situ work starts. At one end of the kitchen the worktop was also maple. The client had requested this to also be sanded and professionally sprayed as that was an area of high traffic and where they put their keys, wallet and bags etc on arriving home. That particular area was templated and had special toughened glass, specifically made to fit the space for extra protection. This was done by making an exact template from toughened card.
On completion of all the in-situ work came the refit of all the doors and drawer fronts. Handles and door knobs fitted with any adjustments and final tweeks made to ensure all doors and drawers fitted and closed correctly.
This project was now complete and saw some very happy customers indeed.

One year on… Lindsay re-visited the clients to quote for spray painting some furniture in the house and the kitchen still looks so fresh and showroom condition as the day it was completed.
